Sarum Lights at Salisbury Cathedral: 7th – 11th November
Salisbury Cathedral is a masterpiece of medieval architecture, and during autumn it becomes even more enchanting. Sarum Lights Illuminating Art begins outside with breath-taking visuals from the Baroque period. Displays in the Cloisters, Trinity Chapel and North Nave Aisle reflect four centuries of ‘new’ ideas of the concept of moral philosophy, natural science and the first English dictionary, to the American War of Independence, abolition of slavery and women’s emancipation.

In the North Transept, a special interactive display, Starry, Starry Night, inspired by Vincent Van Gosh’s art, is part of an installation devoted to impressionism. The show finale in the Nave will showcase titan Pre-Raphaelites and Impressionists including Rossetti and Monet. This immersive experience offers a unique perspective on the cathedral’s stunning architecture. Book early to avoid missing out!
