Design and Decor

When it came time to modernise the 400-year-old cottage, the challenge was to add style and luxury without compromising the dwelling’s character and period features. The kitchen and double living room, residing in the original part of the cottage, lined with wooden beams and open fireplaces, offer the quintessential cosy night in you would expect from a Grade II listed cottage, whilst the stunning architecturally crafted extension to the back of the cottage adds a modern twist and two additional reception rooms.

Upstairs there are three bedrooms and three bathrooms. Guests only need to peak through the century-old windows to enjoy unobstructed views of the surrounding countryside.

To the back of the cottage is a beautiful, secluded garden offering the perfect space for family and friends to relax. During warmer months, this is an ideal spot to unwind after a busy day of sightseeing or hiking through the local countryside. Whilst the children are off exploring, the adults can sit back, rustle up a delicious meal on the BBQ, or enjoy a game of tennis or basketball on their private tennis court.
